Shabira 'Inani Md Zaini
Clinical Psychologist
Shabira ‘Inani is a clinical psychologist who believes therapy should feel safe, practical, and culturally sensitive. She is passionate about reducing stigma around mental health and making professional support accessible after office hours for working adults, parents, and students.
Shabira holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience from the University of Nottingham and a Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from HELP University. She has worked across diverse settings, including NGO, private practices, government hospital and clinic. She has also supervised and mentored a number of clinical psychology trainees, contributing to the growth of the profession.
Her clinical interests include stress and burnout, anxiety and depression, self-esteem and relationship concerns, and adjustment to life changes. Evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) , Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Person-Centered are commonly practised as a working tool in her therapy. Shabira focuses on working together with clients on the same ground, providing guidance and support without judgment — and always with the goal of empowering individuals to reconnect with their values and inner strengths.
