Fung Chai Ying

Clinical Psychologist

Chai Ying is a licensed clinical psychologist dedicated to combating the stigma around mental illnesses. She obtained her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from the Integrated Psychology Program, a collaboration between the University Science Malaysia (USM) and Sultan Idris Education University (UPSI). Having completed her practicum in public hospitals such as Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun (Perak) and Hospital Universiti Sains Malaysia (Kelantan), she brings a wealth of clinical experience to her therapy practice.

Chai Ying’s professional focus lies in assisting adults dealing with mood, anxiety, and personality disorders. She has also worked extensively with children and adolescents facing emotional and behavioral issues. Her primary therapeutic approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), in which she explores the intricate connections between her clients’ thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Additionally, she incorporates other approaches such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) to help her clients foster balanced perspectives.

Chai Ying firmly believes that practicing authenticity and self-acceptance lead to transformative changes in individuals’ lives. When individuals embrace their imperfections and fears, it empowers them to make significant changes. In her journey to empower others, Chai Ying also empowers herself.

Shabira 'Inani Md Zaini

Clinical Psychologist

Shabira ‘Inani Md Zaini is a clinical psychologist who believes therapy should feel safe, practical, and culturally sensitive. She is passionate about reducing stigma around mental health and making professional support accessible after office hours for working adults, parents, and students.

Shabira earned her Master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from HELP University. During training, she completed clinical placements, she supported diverse clients of various mental health concerns.

Her clinical interests include stress and burnoutanxiety and depressionself-esteem and relationship concerns, and adjustment to life changes. In sessions, she integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a primary approach and draws on Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), and person-centred principles to help clients build insight and lasting skills for daily life.

Grounded, empathic, and collaborative, Shabira meets clients where they are—supporting them to clarify values, strengthen coping strategies, and take meaningful steps toward wellbeing.
